:) HAPPY= Helping Anyone Promote A Positive You

On December 2, HAPPY had their first party of the year in Mr. Mack’s room. Most of the old members came and even some potential new comers. At HAPPY parties, there are 3 things always promised: food, movies, and fun.

HAPPY is a fairly new club that has come to Adrian school. The club started last year, where member numbers were at the highest the club has seen so far, and members funded Cake Day and Positive Post-its. The Positive Post-its was a project that had the members of HAPPY post notes on the lockers of high school students. They had funny, positive, or encouraging messages on them for as bit of humor.  We are hoping to do that again this year.

Along with those fun projects, HAPPY also picks up recycling every other Friday all over the school. Not only is this promoting recycling school-wide, but it is also helping the earth.

Seeing that there are no dues, any high school student who wants to join HAPPY, there are meetings every other Thursday at 7:30 in Mr. Mack’s room. The next HAPPY meeting will be Thursday, December 8th, feel free to come and check it out. :)
