Salt To The Sea Book Review

Salt to the Sea, by Ruta Sepetys is set in Nazi Germany about a group of people who are fleeing to safety. The nurse, the Prussian, the Polish girl, the wandering boy, the blind girl, the german, the tall woman, and the shoe poet have all been brought together by the horrors of Hitler.  By foot, they travel through thick and thin thoughts of trust and betrayal swimming through their minds. Each of the travelers have their own secrets and worries to worry about while trying to maintain their role in the traveling strangers.
I give Salt to the Sea 5/5 stars. The feelings and utter rawness of the book are so real. Salt to the Sea is one of many untold stories of the Holocaust.
