You all remember 2nd grade, when your teacher announced to you that you will be building cities in class. You rushed home to tell your parents and couldn’t wait to get started working using your best shoe box and anything you could find around the house. Well, recently this year's second graders have been going through the exact thing that you did. So me Dylan and Jon went to visit the second graders to get a sneak peek at their masterpieces. What we found was not what we expected. When we were second graders our simple house or thrift store made out of a shoe box was a beauty through our eyes. When we got the second graders classroom’s that what we expected, what we found was 2 story building with a helicopter pad on top, a farm with actual grass, and even a gymnastics studio with balance beams and lights inside. Not only were they extremely creative and beautifully crafted, they were realistic. When we asked Sean about his Mcdonald’s he told us that it was the Butler Mcdonald's, and he even had the lines in the parking lot angled the right way. Me, Dylan, and Jon judged the cities by class and we came to the group agreement that Mrs. Bruto’s class won. Mrs. Bruto’s class might have won but every city we laid our eyes on was good. That is why it was so hard to decide who the winner was.
