Math vs Brain

Countercise
Mr. McNeal’s first grade class has been working on their Countercise-counting to 120 by ones. The class was very excited. “It’s great!!” says first grader Izzy Cantrell.

Math Games
Somewhere else in a hallway not so far away, Mrs. Tilley’s fourth grade class works on math stations. Activities included: Task Cards, Spinner Subtraction, a dice game, and Prodigy. Prodigy seems to be the most favorite among  the 4th graders.
When asking a series of questions to the children, there were some pretty good answers.
“On a scale of 1-10 how do you like the dice game?” We asked.
‘“5.” -Harlee Newkirk told us.

We asked everyone their favorite game out of the four math activities: “Prodigy!” Was their enthusiastic reply. “Prodigy was awesome!” Colten Miller sums it up.

The elementary classes are hard at work at learning math, and having fun while doing it!
